The problem
What was getting in the way.
Premium expectations
Residents of an ultra-luxury address expect concierge-level service, not forms and phone trees.
Scattered communication
Notices, events and retailer promotions reached people through notice boards, calls and messages, so many missed them.
Manual service flows
Amenity bookings, maintenance visits and visitor entries ran through people instead of a trackable system.
Trust and privacy
A high-profile community needs discretion. Any digital tool had to feel safe, calm and respectful.
Technology without adoption
A new app means little if residents do not open it, so the launch needed a human touch.
How it solves it
Better days for people, better data for owners.
Residents
- Book tower amenities and local services in a few taps
- Know about precinct events and retailer promotions
- Request a maintenance visit and follow it
- Key building information in one place
DLF and the property team
- A reliable channel for notices and events
- Service requests with owners and status
- Visitor management with fewer calls
- A single point of contact for critical resident cases
Thought process
Six principles I worked by.
Residents are guests
Every message, screen and event follows hospitality rules: warm, discreet and prompt.
Technology plus touch
The app launched alongside on-ground communication, events and a named point of contact.
One channel, many needs
Notices, bookings, requests and visitors live in one app so residents learn one habit.
Content is operations
A feed is only useful if it is fresh. I treated content as a daily operation with owners and a calendar.
Plan the year
An annual events and engagement calendar turns the app into the place where community life shows up.
Be the escalation path
For critical scenarios I was the single point of contact, so residents never felt passed around.

What I did
5 workstreams, one outcome.
Launching the resident app
ProblemA premium community needed a digital front door that matched its standards.
- Owned end-to-end app implementation: configuration, content set-up, testing, resident onboarding and go-live.
- Worked with the property team and platform vendor to fit the app to the Camellias' services.
- CBRE HOST platform
- iOS app
- Role-based admin
- Testing and go-live
ValueA branded app that residents could use from day one.
Amenities, services and building info
ProblemBooking a facility or finding information meant calling someone.
- Set up amenity booking, local services and key building information inside the app.
- Wrote how-to content so residents could learn tower amenities quickly.
- Amenity booking
- Local services directory
- Building information pages
ValueSelf-service for routine needs, with staff freed for personal service.
Requests and visitors
ProblemMaintenance and visitor handling were manual and hard to track.
- Configured service requests and maintenance visits with clear statuses.
- Ran visitor management with the security team and trained them on the flow.
- Service request workflow
- Maintenance visits
- Visitor management
ValueFewer calls, faster follow-up and a record of every request.
Notices, events and promotions
ProblemCommunity news reached only part of the building.
- Managed content operations for notices, events and retailer promotions.
- Designed and delivered the annual events and engagement calendar with on-ground teams.
- Notices and events
- Retailer promotions
- Editorial calendar
ValueA steady reason to open the app and a stronger sense of community.
Single point of contact
ProblemCritical issues needed one person who owned the outcome.
- Acted as the SPOC for critical resident scenarios and the HOST App ecosystem.
- Managed resident communication strategy across channels, in a discreet and warm tone.
- Escalation path
- Resident communication plan
ValueTrust: residents knew who to reach and that it would be handled.

Impact
Scope and what I learned.
HNI households served
service areas in one app
annual events and engagement calendar
named point of contact for critical cases
Community size is from my role summary. Satisfaction scores for this programme are not published here.
Hospitality shapes product
In a premium setting, tone and timing matter as much as features.
Content is the heartbeat
A fresh feed and a real calendar keep an app alive.
A person behind the app
Residents adopt faster when they know a human owns the outcome.
